Despite Having One Leg She Continues To Stun Nollywood With Her Beauty And Courage

At the age of 13, Doris Samuel Akonanya was involved in a motor accident that led to the amputation of her right leg by doctors

She is a pure example that we should never give up on our dreams no matter what life throws at us.

A lot of people today see their present circumstances and situation as a roadblock to achieving their dreams, but the truth is that they got it all wrong. There is strength in every weakness.

Doris Samuel who is in her 20s is a Nollywood actress, movie producer and dancer. She became popular after she was featured in the movie titled "Susanna".

One of the greatest decision she ever made was not allow her situation to define her achievements in life.

She studied Theatre Arts at Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, Anambra State, despite several discouragement from people.

According to her, her parents especially her mom never gave up on her and they encouraged her all through the steps she took.

She got inspiration when she watched a motivational speaker, Nicholas James who had no arms and legs.

Doris Samuel is often referred to as a strong and determined lady that is passionate about acting. She started acting in 2015 with the help of actor and movie producer, Prince Owelle Ugorji who she met on Facebook.

Since then she has featured in a lot of Nollywood movies like Python Burial, Tears of Destiny, Susanna, Innocent Blood and Uju which she personally produced in 2017 among others.
