The Lords of the Rings is an epic Hollywood movie, it is a high- fantasy novel written by the English author and scholar J.R.R Tolkien. The story began as a sequel to Tolkien's 1937 fantasy novel ''THE HOBBIT'' but eventually developed into a much larger work, written in stages between 1937 and 1949. The Lord of the Rings is one of the bestselling novel ever written, with over 150 million copies sold.

 The movie Lord of the Rings is no doubt one of the best epic movie produced by the Hollywood films in the 2001. The movies is characterized with a high sense of adventure, horror and action. The movies featured a lot of talented and sophisticated casts, among these characters are Elijah Wood who played a leading role and as the main protagonist; Frodo, among other actors are; Orlando Bloom as Legolas, lan McKellen who played the sorcerer named; Gandalf, Sean Astin as Samwise, Viggo Mortensen as Aragorn, Anty Serkis who played Gollum and also named Smigo, and several other casts. 

Anty Serkis was one of the leading actor who played the role of a caused Gollum Goblin named Smigo.   Anty Serkis whose full name is Andrew Clement Serkis was born on the 20 April 1964. He is an English actor, narrator and film director from London. He is best for his performance which features roles comparing motion capture acting, animation and voice work for such computer- generated characters as Gollum in The Lord of the Rings film trilogy (2001 - 2003).

Serkis is indeed a fascinating character who has really affected the Hollywood industry with his magnificent style of acting, he has featured in different award winning movies like - The Kid Who Would Be King, The Black Panther, The Lord of the Rings, and the 2020 Netfix series ''The Letter for the King respectively.   Serkis is a father and a husband married to the actress Lorraine Ashbourne in July 2020.
