Veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe Damijo, also known as RMD has marked his 59th birthday in grand style, sharing some dazzling photos via his Instagram page.
The prolific actor who had earlier expressed his intention to post 59 photos to mark the auspicious occasion, woke up to an outpouring of love when he realized that fans had already started the posting of pictures.
He wrote, “What a birthday this is turning out to be. I have to start saying thank you now for all the outpouring of love. Looks like you guys have posted the 59 photos already. Or should I go ahead and still post? I’m ready o!”

Aside from acting, RMD is also a former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State, Nigeria. In 2005 he won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. He received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 12th Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2016.
